New Drysdale Tip Fees
The new fees are posted on their Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre page.
A car boot load now costs $17, single axle trailer (waterline) $34 and heaped $44; a tandem trailer (waterline) $44 and heaped $88.
Trailer charges are based on $44 per cubic metre.

Drysdale Tip fees going up again!
From July 1, 2011 the Drysdale tip fees are going up again!
You will pay the following:
- Car Boot - $14.50
- Utilities, Vans, Single axle trailers (waterline) - $31.50
- Single axle trailers (heaped) … (minimum) - $39.50
- Tandem Trailers (waterline) ... (minimum) - $39.50
- Tandem Trailers (heaped) … (minimum) - $79.00
- Please note trailer charges are based on $39.50 per cubic metre

Drysdale Tip Fees going up this Thursday
The Geelong Council's City News published in The Independent on Friday June 25, 2010, page 9 reports that from this Thursday, July 1, 2010, the Drysdale Tip fees are going up significantly!
For residents, a car boot load of rubbish will not cost $9.50 but will increase to $12.50 and a trailer will increase from $17.50 to $27.00 - a whopping 36% price rise
For businesses, a tonne of industrial waste will increase to $71.30.
The current charges until close of business Wednesday are available from the City of Greater Geelong's website.

Drysdale Tip fees go up 55%
Car boot load will increase by $3 and now cost $12.50
The City of Greater Geelong say this is because of the Victorian' Government's Environment Protection Authority landfill levy which has increased by $21 per tonne.

Drysdale tip fees likely to increase
An article in today's Independent entitled "Fee'Hike' to leave tip users down in the dumps" claims that:
"The cost of dumping rubbish at City of Greater Geelong tips is set to rise up to 50 per cent in July under a new environment landfill levy, councillors have warned..."
The landfill levy is set by the Victorian Government and the Geelong Council has warned they will probably have to raise rates as a result.
