The Geelong Council has developed a draft master plan for the Drysdale Clifton Springs Sports Precinct located on the corner of Grubb Road and Anderson Road in Drysdale. Information about the plan was detailed on this blog a few weeks ago.
This Master Plan provides for a range of current and future sporting needs of the Bellarine Peninsula, based on the directions set by the Geelong Council's Recreation and Leisure Needs Study (2005) and the Drysdale Clifton Springs Structure Plan (2009).
This Plan is designed to be implemented over many years and involves significant development of a range of sporting facilities, supporting infrastructure and informal recreation facilities.
A public information session will be held from 4pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday 9 February 2011 at the Springdale Neighbourhood Centre in High Street Drysdale.
The closing date for public submissions is Friday 18 March 2011. More information is available from the Geelong Council.
