From Saturday 6 February 2010, the Central Geelong NightBus will offer a new service to Drysdale/Clifton Springs to help people from these areas get home safely.
The bus will leave central Geelong at 4.00am every Saturday night (Sunday mornings), for Drysdale/Clifton Springs and will cost $5 per person.
Geelong City Councillor Jan Farrell said:
"We have introduced the Drysdale and Clifton Springs service in response to passenger requests, as well as feedback from the community about the need for transport to the Drysdale/Clifton Springs area."
You can catch the NightBus from Moorabool Street (between Malop and Little Malop Street), near the Safe Taxi Rank. Security guards will be on board at all times.
Tickets can be bought from the bus driver as you board the NightBus or beforehand at a range of places around Geelong, including the Geelong Council Customer Service Centres. As well as single one off tickets for $5, multi-ride tickets are also available for $25. The NightBus Drysdale route map is available in pdf format. There is also a pocket timetable for the stops of the Central Geelong NightBus.
