An article in today's Geelong Advertiser (print edition) by Chrisie Peucker (page 15) says that youth mental health service Headspace Barwon has applied to run a satellite programe at the Bellarine Artis Centre site - the Potato Shed in Drysdale.
"If approved, the temporary building would house an integrated health model, including GPs, psychiatrists, drug and alcohol counsellors, youth workers and physical and mental health workers."
The Potato Shed has been chosen as the site initially because of close proximity to schools. If approved the centre would be open from 1-5pm.
An earlier article about headspace and its choice of location in Drysdale was published on 23 February 2009 in the Geelong Advertiser entitled: Bellarine Headspace Grows.
